The 6061 alloy frame provides a strong yet lightweight foundation and is equipped with fittings for a rear rack and mudguards, so it's ready for commuting, light touring or carrying shopping home. The Suntour XCR32 Boost suspension fork with 120mm of travel softens uneven surfaces and potholes alike, ideal for mixed terrain rides and less-than-perfect UK paths.
At the heart of the bike is the Shimano EP5 mid-drive motor, delivering 60Nm of smooth, natural-feeling torque. You’ll get that extra push when you need it most on hills or into a headwind, while the 504Wh battery provides excellent range for long days in the saddle. The handlebar-mounted Shimano SC-EN500 display keeps everything easy to monitor and control, with three assist modes and walk assist to help move the bike when dismounted.
Drivetrain duties are taken care of by a robust Shimano CUES 9-speed setup, featuring a single 38T front ring and a wide-range 11–46T cassette ideal for simple shifting and climbing ability without unnecessary complexity. The Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes offer controlled stopping in all conditions, giving you confidence on fast descents or wet roads.
Rounding off the build are Goodyear Connector 700x50c tyres, which are tubeless-ready and offer a smart balance between grip and low rolling resistance, perfect for varied surfaces. Comfort is further enhanced by a Boardman memory foam saddle, ergonomic grips and a stable, upright riding position that makes longer journeys feel easier and more enjoyable.
