The SLR 9.4 Carbon is engineered to help you go further and faster for the same effort. The C10 carbon frame uses Boardman’s flagship carbon layup, delivering improved aerodynamic efficiency over the previous generation while keeping weight impressively low at around 8.4kg. Tube profiles are shaped to reduce drag in real-world conditions, making it well suited to racing, hard training blocks and long solo miles.
The frame also balances performance with practicality. Hidden mounts allow full-length mudguards to be fitted neatly, and increased bottle and storage capacity make it easier to prepare for bigger days out. The use of SRAM’s Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) simplifies maintenance and future-proofing.
Shifting is handled by SRAM Rival AXS E1, a wireless 2x12-speed system pairing 46/33T chainrings with a 10–33T SRAM Force cassette. The result is a wide gear range for steep climbs and fast group rides. Updated brake levers improve ergonomics and reduce braking effort, while hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm front and 140mm rear rotors offer confident stopping control in all conditions.
Rolling stock comes from the Boardman 9 Series RD Carbon wheelset. With a 50mm deep and 28mm wide rim profile, these tubeless-ready carbon wheels are designed for efficient aerodynamics and stable handling. Fitted with 700x30mm Goodyear Eagle tubeless-ready tyres, they offer a blend of low rolling resistance, grip and comfort across varying road surfaces.
Finishing kit includes a D-shaped Boardman aero carbon seatpost, which enhances compliance compared to a traditional round alloy post while adding aerodynamic benefit. The Prologo Scratch M5 PAS saddle supports natural pelvic rotation and distributes pressure evenly for comfort on longer rides.
