After having a beloved Specialized hybrid with front suspension stolen I was in two minds about getting a rigid fork as I use it for commuting and leisure round the streets and off-streets of a large city and sometimes bouncing about round outer city more rural areas. Got to say the pros here outweigh the cons; it’s lightweight so easy on the legs, a lot of fun to ride and I love the colour of it. Because it’s sleek it suits mudguards like the SKS Bluemels, and saddle-wise I had ordered a Specialized saddle but returned it as I found the comes as standard saddle to be perfectly comfortable for my needs. All in all pleased I chose this over an electric or a more heavy duty hybrid. It feels as light as riding an old racer but sturdy and with a decent tyre width for paths and so on.
