The Explore E+ 4 Double Diamond is built for riders who want support on longer journeys but still value a natural, confident ride feel. The Gen 3 ALUXX aluminium frame uses a cleanly integrated battery design and an OverDrive 1.8–1.5" head tube for stable steering. Its geometry sits in a sweet spot between urban comfort and light off-road capability, making it just as happy on country lanes as it is on weekend gravel routes. The frame also includes a KSA40 kickstand mount and practical fixing points for racks and accessories.
A SR Suntour XCM34 Boost fork with 100 mm of travel smooths out rough patches, potholes and gravel sections, helping you stay relaxed on longer rides. The rigid rear triangle keeps power transfer efficient, especially when climbing or riding with luggage.
Shimano’s CUES 9-speed drivetrain offers simple, reliable shifting with a wide 11–36T range for mixed terrain. Tektro HD-M280 hydraulic brakes with 180 mm rotors deliver controlled stopping in all weather, which is reassuring when carrying speed on rougher surfaces.
The wheelset uses Giant’s GX03V rims paired with e-bike-optimised eTracker Boost hubs for strength and durability. Wide 700x57c Crosscut Gravel 2 tyres give plenty of grip and cushioning, rolling smoothly on tarmac while providing extra confidence on looser ground. Reflective sidewalls add visibility when riding in lower light.
Power comes from the Giant SyncDrive Sport2 motor, producing up to 75 Nm of torque. It uses PedalPlus 6-sensor technology to match assistance to your effort, creating a natural and predictable feel. Paired with the EnergyPak Smart 500Wh battery, it offers dependable range for commuting, day trips and weekend adventures. The RideControl Dash 2 display gives clear, high-angle visibility with ride data, navigation features and mode selection close to hand.
Comfortable contact points, including a Selle Royal Vivo Ergo saddle and rise handlebar, complete a setup designed for long-lasting enjoyment. With mounts for racks, guards and bags, the Explore E+ 4 is ready for everyday travel and gateway adventures alike.
This is a capable, confidence-boosting e-bike that turns daily riding into something more rewarding—helping you go farther, explore more and enjoy every mile.

* Mountain bikes are sized differently to road bikes. Typically, they are sized in inches as the first MTBs were produced in the USA. European brands like Lapierre and Haibike like to use centimeters for all their bikes. The measurements of their mountain bikes doesn’t match their road bikes but is like a simple conversion from the inches measurement. This is why we have included cm measurements in brackets for the e mountain bike column.
