Giant Trance X 2 Mountain Bike 2025 - Trail Full Suspension MTB
The Giant Trance X 2 is designed for riders who favour the quick, responsive feel of 27.5” wheels combined with modern trail capability. Its ALUXX SL-grade aluminium frame is lightweight and strong, built around Giant’s proven Maestro suspension system delivering 145mm of smooth, active rear travel.

A key highlight is the adjustable frame geometry. The flip chip allows you to change the head tube and seat tube angles as well as the bottom bracket drop, letting you fine-tune handling to suit the trail conditions or your riding style. Choose a steeper setup for tighter, more technical trails, or go slacker for added confidence at speed.
Up front, the Fox 36 Rhythm fork with a GRIP damper provides 160mm of controlled travel, helping you stay composed through rock gardens, roots and steep descents. At the rear, the Fox Float DPS Performance shock is custom tuned for Giant and mounted via a trunnion design, offering a smoother feel and improved small-bump sensitivity.
The progressive suspension layout is enhanced by an Advanced Forged Composite upper rocker arm, increasing stiffness and strength while keeping overall frame weight down. This results in excellent traction and control when pushing hard through rough terrain.
Rolling on wide 27.5” rims with aggressive Maxxis Assegai and Minion DHR II tyres, the Trance X 2 delivers strong grip and confident cornering. SRAM’s NX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain provides reliable shifting and a wide gear range, while Tektro Orion four-piston brakes offer powerful, consistent stopping on long descents.

Awesome bike, haven’t ridden yet but service was top notch, came within 48hrs of ordering, and built as expected. Got whilst on offer so was a no brainer for the spec and. Modern geo etc Top notch as expected by giant an my first giant fs so looking forward to getting on trails
