The Avail Advanced 2 is built for riders who want to cover distance efficiently while staying comfortable hour after hour. The Advanced-grade composite frame keeps overall weight low for easier climbing and responsive acceleration, while its endurance-focused geometry offers stable handling on longer rides.
The Advanced-grade composite fork with a full-composite OverDrive steerer adds steering precision and front-end stiffness. Thru-axles front and rear improve tracking and braking consistency, especially when descending or riding on less-than-perfect roads.
Comfort plays a central role in the design. The Liv Contact SL D-Fuse handlebar features an ergonomic shape with an 8-degree flare, giving added control and confidence on varied surfaces. Its D-shaped profile, paired with the D-Fuse composite seatpost, helps absorb road buzz more effectively than traditional round tubes. The result is less fatigue over longer rides, without losing efficiency when climbing or cornering.
Shimano 105 2x12 gearing combines proven reliability with a wide range. A 50/34T compact chainset matched to an 11–36T cassette provides sensible gearing for steep climbs, rolling terrain and faster sections. Shifts are crisp and consistent, helping you maintain rhythm across changing gradients. Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors offer dependable stopping power and modulation in both dry and wet conditions.
Giant P-R1 Disc alloy wheels are tubeless ready and fitted with 700x32c Giant Gavia Fondo 1 tyres. This wider setup adds grip and comfort while maintaining efficiency on tarmac. The frame also accommodates tyres up to 38mm, giving flexibility if you want extra cushioning for rougher roads or light gravel.
Finished with a Liv Approach saddle and size-specific components for a balanced fit, the Avail Advanced 2 is a road bike that supports steady progress and longer ambitions. Whether you’re building endurance, tackling a sportive or heading out for a full day in the saddle, it’s designed to help you ride further in comfort and control.
