Marin Headlands 1 2026 - Gravel Bike
The Marin Headlands 1 takes everything that makes a great gravel bike and brings it together in a package that’s both high-performing and great value. At its heart is a unidirectional carbon Beyond Road frame, purpose-built for gravel and adventure riding. The geometry takes cues from mountain bikes, with a longer top tube and shorter stem for confident handling on rough terrain, while still offering fast and efficient performance on open roads.

This frame is designed with versatility in mind, offering clearance for 700x45mm or 650Bx47mm tyres so you can adapt your setup to the terrain and style of riding. With multiple mounting points, it’s also easy to carry extra bottles, bags, racks and mudguards – making it equally at home as a weekend bikepacking rig or a winter commuter.
The Marin full carbon fork complements the frame with precise handling and vibration-damping compliance, while a Shimano GRX RX600 11-speed drivetrain ensures smooth and reliable shifting. Paired with a wide-range 11-42T cassette, it delivers gears to suit steep climbs and fast gravel descents alike.
Stopping power comes from Shimano GRX hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors front and rear, giving consistent control in all conditions. The bike rolls on Marin aluminium double-wall tubeless-ready wheels, wrapped in Vee Tire Co. G-Sport 700x44mm tyres that balance speed with grip across mixed surfaces.
Finished with Marin’s Beyond Road Concept saddle and a flared alloy bar for improved stability on loose ground, the Headlands 1 is built for comfort on long rides.
