The Marin Wildcat Trail 1 has been designed from the ground up to give women an affordable, capable and confidence-boosting way into mountain biking. Built around a Series 1 aluminium women’s-specific frame, it features a low standover height, making it easier to get on and off the bike while providing more confidence on uneven ground.

Rolling on 27.5” wheels fitted with 2.25” wide MTB tyres, the Wildcat balances agility with stability. Up front, an SR Suntour XCE fork with 100mm travel helps smooth out bumps and roots on off-road trails, while the wide Marin alloy handlebar gives riders extra leverage for steering control.
The drivetrain comes from Shimano’s Tourney range, with a 3x7 setup giving you 21 gears to tackle climbs and descents. Shifting is intuitive and supported by Shimano levers, while a reliable sealed cartridge bottom bracket helps keep things running smoothly. Braking is handled by Tektro mechanical disc brakes with 160mm rotors, giving dependable stopping power in a range of conditions.
