The Merida One-Sixty 500 is an enduro bike that’s built to take on serious terrain with composure and control. Sharing the same radical geometry and award-winning suspension layout as Merida’s flagship carbon models, this alloy-framed version brings cutting-edge performance at a more accessible price.
The Lite III aluminium frame features Merida’s next-generation enduro geometry, offering a long reach and steep seat angle for efficient climbing and stable descending. A flip chip allows you to run the bike as a full 29er or a mullet setup (29” front / 27.5” rear) for quicker handling and extra clearance. Internal cable routing and a threaded bottom bracket add durability and easy maintenance, while bottle and accessory mounts make it ready for long rides in the mountains.
At the heart of its performance is a RockShox Domain Gold R fork offering 170 mm of smooth, responsive travel, paired with a RockShox Super Deluxe rear shock for consistent control on rough trails. Together, they deliver the traction and confidence needed to tackle steep descents and technical features.
The Shimano Deore 12-speed drivetrain provides reliable and precise shifting, with a wide-range 10–51T cassette to conquer any climb. Stopping power is handled by Shimano Deore M6120 4-piston brakes and large 203 mm rotors — giving powerful, consistent braking on demanding descents.
Rolling on Merida Comp TR II tubeless-ready wheels, the One-Sixty 500 pairs Continental Kryptotal-F and Kryptotal-R tyres for balanced grip and rolling speed on all surfaces. Wheel size is tailored by frame size — smaller sizes feature a mullet setup for agility, while larger sizes run full 29er wheels for stability.
Finishing touches like the Merida Expert dropper post (with up to 230 mm of travel) and Comp SL saddle ensure comfort and control when the trail points down. The wide 780 mm handlebars and short 40 mm stem offer precise steering and a confident, modern cockpit setup.
Tough, balanced, and ready for anything, the Merida One-Sixty 500 brings big-bike capability to every trail. It’s built for riders who want an alloy workhorse that can handle hard enduro riding, bike park laps, and long alpine days — without compromise.
Occasionally, without notice, manufacturers change product design and/or specifications.
