Merida Reacto 8000 2026 - Road Bike

Built around Merida’s CF3 carbon frame, the Reacto 8000 shares its geometry and wind-cheating tube profiles with the flagship CF5 model, delivering outstanding stiffness and comfort in a more accessible package. Every contour has been refined using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and wind tunnel testing to ensure maximum efficiency on the road.
Key Features:
- CF3 carbon frame with aero profiling and race-proven geometry
- Reacto CF3 carbon fork with integrated Disc Cooler design
- Shimano Ultegra Di2 12-speed electronic drivetrain
- Shimano Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors
- Reynolds AR 60 DB carbon wheels with Continental GP5000S TR tyres
- Integrated Vision Metron 5D carbon cockpit for aero efficiency
- Available with 0% APR finance
The frame’s sleek integration goes beyond looks: the Disc Cooler technology sits discreetly behind the fork, helping to reduce braking heat while maintaining airflow. Even the thru-axle threads are built into the fork dropout to eliminate unnecessary drag, while the rear brake caliper is tucked neatly into the rear triangle for a clean, aerodynamic finish. The result? The Reacto requires just 209 watts to maintain 45 km/h.
The CF3 frame uses a high-quality carbon layup to achieve the ideal balance between performance and durability. Its aerodynamic tube shapes and compact geometry keep the bike stable at high speeds, while accommodating wider tyres up to 30mm for enhanced comfort and control. The Reacto CF3 carbon fork complements the frame perfectly, improving steering accuracy and absorbing road vibrations for a smoother ride.
At the heart of the drivetrain lies Shimano’s latest Ultegra Di2 12-speed groupset, delivering fast, precise, and fully electronic shifting with a wide gear range for everything from race sprints to steep climbs. Hydraulic Ultegra disc brakes provide reliable stopping power and modulation in all conditions, aided by Merida’s CNC’d aluminium Disc Cooler fins which help reduce braking temperatures by up to 35%.
The Reynolds AR 60 DB carbon wheels are designed for aerodynamic advantage, featuring a 60mm rim depth and 21mm internal width to pair perfectly with the Continental Grand Prix 5000S TR tyres. This combination offers low rolling resistance, excellent grip, and tubeless-ready performance straight out of the box.
Up front, the Vision Metron 5D ACR EVO carbon handlebar and stem system enhances aerodynamics and cockpit integration while keeping cables completely hidden. A Merida Team CW carbon seatpost and Prologo Scratch M5 saddle complete the setup, ensuring comfort and efficiency on long rides.
Occasionally, without notice, manufacturers change product design and/or specifications.
