The Merida Scultura 4000 brings together lightweight design, proven race geometry, and everyday rider comfort. Built around the CF3 carbon frame, it carries the same aerodynamic shaping as Merida’s award-winning Reacto while maintaining the Scultura’s reputation as an all-rounder. Internal cable routing, Disc Cooler technology, and clearance for 30c tyres combine sleek looks with practical performance.
At the heart of the bike is the Shimano 105 R7100 12-speed groupset, offering smooth and precise shifting. The 50/34T compact chainset matched to an 11–34T cassette provides a versatile range of gears, equally suited to fast flats and steep climbs. Braking confidence comes from Shimano 105 hydraulic discs with 160mm rotors, giving reliable stopping power in all conditions.
The wheelset is the Merida Expert SL aluminium wheels, paired with Continental Grand Prix 28mm tyres for a balance of speed, grip, and comfort. A carbon Merida Expert seatpost further adds compliance, helping reduce road buzz on long rides. The inclusion of Merida’s integrated minitool also adds practical value for everyday cycling.
Now in its fifth generation, the Scultura has been refined using aerodynamic learnings from Merida’s pro-level bikes, with subtle details improving airflow while preserving the lively handling and light weight the bike is known for. This is a machine that’s proven on World Tour stages, but also designed to keep everyday riders fresh and confident on long climbs, punchy sprints, and everything in between.
