The Scultura Endurance 8000 is designed for riders who want comfort without giving up performance. Its CF3 carbon frame uses Merida’s Nano Matrix technology for impact resistance, paired with endurance-focused geometry that encourages a more upright position. A longer head tube reduces strain on the back and neck, while a slacker head angle and longer wheelbase bring stability on descents and rough roads.
Clearance for tyres up to 35c (or 32c with mudguards) makes it easy to run larger-volume tyres at lower pressures, adding grip and comfort on rough tarmac and pothole-strewn lanes. The full carbon CF3 fork and 12mm bolt-through axles deliver precise steering and stiffness for efficient power transfer.
The specification ensures this bike is as capable as it is comfortable. Shimano’s Ultegra Di2 12-speed electronic drivetrain offers fast, accurate shifting at the touch of a button, while the wide 50/34T chainset paired with an 11-34T cassette provides gearing for both climbs and speed. Powerful Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes with CL800 rotors give consistent stopping performance, with Merida’s CNC-machined Disc Cooler fins helping manage heat build-up.
Rolling on Vision SC 45 carbon wheels, the Endurance 8000 benefits from aerodynamic efficiency and stiffness, combined with Continental GP5000 AllSeason TR 32c tyres for grip and year-round durability. Finishing touches include an integrated seat clamp for a clean look, hidden cabling routed through the headset, and practical details like a removable rear seat stay bridge for mudguard fitment. A Prologo Scratch M5 saddle and carbon Team SL seatpost add comfort to long days in the saddle.
Positioned between Merida’s fast Scultura race bike and their versatile Silex gravel platform, the Scultura Endurance 8000 is perfect for riders who want to cover big miles in comfort while still enjoying sharp handling and modern road performance. It’s a bike that makes the most of every long day out, whether it’s sportives, training rides or simply exploring further.
