The Merida Speeder 100 is a quick, comfortable flat-bar road bike with modern features. With a hydroformed aluminium frame, carbon fork and 18-speed Shimano CUES gearing, it’s ideal for city riding, training loops and longer tarmac spins.

The Speeder 100 is designed for riders who want road-bike efficiency with the control and visibility of flat bars. The Lite III frame uses triple butted 6066 aluminium, hydroformed to fine-tune stiffness and comfort. The result is a responsive feel under power without being harsh on longer rides. Internal cable routing keeps things tidy, and the tapered head tube adds steering precision.
Up front, the full carbon Speeder CF2 fork with tapered steerer helps reduce weight and absorb road buzz, contributing to a smoother ride and accurate handling. Combined with the upright geometry and 600mm flat handlebar, it offers confident control in traffic and a clear view of the road ahead.
Shimano CUES 2x9 gearing pairs a 40/26T chainset with an 11–36T cassette, giving a wide range for steady cruising and steeper climbs. The drivetrain is designed for durability and consistent shifting, making it well suited to regular commuting or fitness riding.
Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors deliver dependable stopping power in wet and dry conditions alike, adding reassurance when riding in busy urban environments.
The bike rolls on Merida Comp SL aluminium rims, which are tubeless ready, and 700x35c Kenda Piedmont tyres. This wider tyre size improves comfort and grip while maintaining good rolling speed. The frame clears tyres up to 35c (or 32c with mudguards), giving flexibility for different riding styles.
Practical mounts for racks, mudguards and a kickstand make it easy to adapt the Speeder 100 for commuting or everyday errands.
