The Pendleton Somerby E takes the much-loved style and comfort of the original Somerby and adds smooth pedal assistance to make cycling easier and more enjoyable. Powered by a Bafang 250w rear hub motor with 32Nm torque, it gives you a welcome boost when climbing hills, riding into headwinds or setting off from traffic lights. The Samsung 317Wh battery provides an average range of 25–30 miles, making it well suited to daily commutes, errands, and weekend leisure rides.
The Shimano Acera 8-speed drivetrain offers reliable gear changes with enough range to handle town riding and light inclines. Stopping is taken care of by Tektro alloy V-brakes, delivering steady and dependable control when you need it.
Practical details such as colour-matched full-length mudguards and a chainguard help keep your clothes clean and dry, even in wet weather. The upright riding position and swept-back handlebars encourage a relaxed posture, reducing strain on your back and shoulders. Comfort is further enhanced with ergonomic grips and a sprung saddle that cushions bumps and rough road surfaces.
Kenda 700x38c tyres with puncture protection and reflective sidewalls add both reliability and visibility, while the walk-assist mode makes manoeuvring the bike easier off the saddle. All electrical components are backed by a 2-year warranty, giving added peace of mind.
The Somerby E is designed for riders who want a comfortable, stylish and easy-to-ride bike that makes everyday journeys more enjoyable, whether it’s the morning commute, a trip to the shops, or a leisurely spin through the park.
