The Raleigh Captus Mid Step is built around an all-new 6061 alloy frame designed to give you a comfortable, upright position for town riding and gentle weekend routes. The mid-step design makes getting on and off easier, while keeping the frame strong and balanced. With the battery mounted on the downtube, the bike feels steady at low and high speeds and handles naturally even with added pedal assistance.
A rigid alloy fork keeps the steering direct and predictable. It’s a setup that works well on smoother paths, cycle lanes and light park trails, giving you a simple, low-maintenance front end. Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes provide consistent stopping power in all weather, which is reassuring when traffic or conditions change quickly.
Shimano’s CUES 9-speed drivetrain offers smooth shifting and a wide enough range for rolling terrain and relaxed climbs. The 11–32 cassette pairs well with the Samox chainset for easy cruising. Strong RYDE ZAC 421 rims, Shimano CUES hubs and Sapim spokes build into a wheelset ready for daily mileage, while XLC Traverse tyres offer grip and plenty of cushioning.
The Bosch Active Line motor delivers gentle, predictable assistance suited to urban and recreational rides. It’s quiet, refined and pairs well with the 400Wh battery for regular trips.
