The Scott Scale RC Team Issue is built to go fast — a no-compromise cross-country race machine engineered for efficiency, precision, and control. Every detail, from its featherweight carbon construction to its cutting-edge drivetrain, is designed to help you ride faster and with more confidence when the clock is ticking.
At the core of the bike is the Scale Carbon HMX frame, one of the lightest and stiffest hardtail platforms Scott has ever produced. Using advanced carbon layup technology, it achieves incredible strength-to-weight efficiency, translating every pedal stroke directly into forward momentum. The frame’s adjustable head angle system lets you tailor handling to suit your riding style — steep for quick, agile steering or slack for more stability on technical descents.
Scott’s Syncros Cable Integration System (CIS) keeps the cockpit sleek and aerodynamic, with all cables routed internally for a clean, uncluttered finish. The Advanced Shock and Standing Damping System subtly absorbs vibration, improving comfort and control on rough terrain without sacrificing speed.
The front suspension comes courtesy of the RockShox SID SL Select fork, offering 110mm of finely-tuned travel with a 3-mode remote lockout. This allows instant on-the-fly adjustment — from firm climbing efficiency to fully open plushness for technical trails. Lightweight and responsive, it keeps the front end planted and predictable across variable terrain.
The SRAM GX Eagle AXS 12-speed Transmission drivetrain brings seamless, cable-free shifting to the racecourse. Its wireless electronic system delivers instant, precise gear changes even under heavy load, while the 10–52T cassette offers a huge range for climbing and sprinting alike.
Braking is handled by SRAM Motive Bronze 4-piston hydraulic discs, which deliver powerful, consistent stopping control in all conditions — from slick roots to dusty singletrack.
The Fulcrum Red Zone 300 CL 29-inch wheelset is lightweight and tubeless-ready, built to withstand the demands of XC racing while maintaining responsive acceleration. Paired with Maxxis Rekon Race 2.4” tyres, it offers fast-rolling traction and dependable grip on loose and hardpack trails.
Finishing touches from Syncros add to the bike’s precision and polish. The Fraser iC SL XC carbon cockpit integrates the bar and stem into a lightweight, race-optimised design, while the Duncan 1.5XC dropper post provides greater control on technical sections. The Belcarra V2.0 saddle ensures comfort and efficiency over long efforts.
Every element of the Scott Scale RC Team Issue works together to deliver an XC bike that’s as efficient as it is capable. Whether you’re chasing podiums, personal bests, or just the thrill of pure speed, this is a hardtail that rewards every ounce of effort — fast, focused, and ready for the toughest race days.
