The Specialized Diverge E5 is designed for riders who want one bike that can handle almost anything. Built around a Premium E5 alloy frame with internal cable routing and a threaded bottom bracket, it delivers durability and stiffness without compromising on weight. Paired with a FACT full carbon fork, it keeps the front end light and responsive while improving comfort over rough surfaces.
Specialized gave the Diverge its most progressive gravel geometry to date. A longer reach, slacker head tube, and a longer offset fork add stability and control when the terrain gets rough, while shorter stems ensure the handling stays lively on the road. The low bottom bracket adds confidence off-road but remains high enough to run 650b wheels if preferred.
The bike comes with a Shimano CUES 2x10 drivetrain, offering a wide gear range for fast sections and steep climbs alike. Hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano 105 provide reliable stopping power whatever the conditions. Rolling on AXIS Sport Disc wheels with Specialized Pathfinder 40mm tyres, the Diverge balances speed on tarmac with traction and comfort on gravel and dirt tracks.
Practicality hasn’t been forgotten. The Diverge comes with multiple mounting points for racks, top tube bags, and fork cages, making it ideal for bikepacking or long-distance adventures. With clearance for tyres up to 47mm on 700c wheels (or 2.1” on 650b), you can tailor the setup for the type of riding you love most.
Whether you’re aiming for your first gravel race, planning bikepacking trips, or simply want a bike that’s as comfortable on country lanes as it is on bridleways, the Diverge E5 gives you the freedom to go further and explore new routes with confidence.
Occasionally, without notice, manufacturers change product design and/or specifications.
