The frame is built using their high-performance FACT 10r carbon, drawing on aerodynamic tube shapes from the FreeFoil library and lessons learned from the ultra-light Aethos. It’s just 950g and includes new dropped seatstays for better aerodynamics and compliance.

At the front of the bike is Future Shock 3.2, a completely redesigned suspension system offering 20mm of tunable, friction-free travel between the stem and head tube. Unlike standard forks, which deflect backward and sap speed on impacts, Future Shock keeps your bars and hands stable, allowing you to maintain momentum across broken roads, cobbles and even light gravel

Compliance continues at the rear with AfterShock technology a combination of a dropped seatpost clamp and the S-Works Pavé carbon seatpost. This setup enhances vertical flex while maintaining power transfer, resulting in a smoother ride with no loss of efficiency. Compared to competitors, the SL8 reduces impact at the bars and saddle by up to 53%, meaning less fatigue and more speed over long distances.

The Rider-First Engineered™ geometry places you in the bike for confidence and control on descents, while remaining relaxed and efficient over long miles. There’s clearance for up to 40mm tyres, and it comes stock with 32mm S-Works Mondo 2BR tyres fast, supple and capable across any surface.

Spec’d with SRAM Rival eTap AXS 2x12 wireless electronic shifting, the drivetrain delivers effortless gear changes and includes a power meter for precision training and pacing. Braking comes via SRAM hydraulic discs, and the bike rolls on lightweight, tubeless-ready Roval Terra C carbon wheels for a responsive, controlled ride.
