Seatpost Suspension

Seatpost suspension is a great upgrade and an effective way to cushion shocks and bumps. Ideal for trekking, hybrid and commuter bikes when you’re putting in the miles, these seatposts will keep you in the saddle for longer. Look for bike seatposts made from lightweight aluminium alloy, so you don’t have a weight penalty. Many of these seatposts feature a 350mm length.

A standout suspension seatpost is the Cane Creek Thudbuster with a parallel link design that responds to all bumps with 3” travel so you don’t get pedal activated bob. Twin elastomers can be changed to tune the performance for your weight and riding style. System Ex and Avenir suspension seatposts offer between 35mm and 40mm travel to soak up bumps.
