Frame

Easy folding

Available in either black or white the one-size-fits-all frame made from light 6061 Aluminium as a base, the bike packs in many accessories onto its chassis like a strong integrated rear rack, mudguards, kickstand and lights. The total bike is only 20 Kg, a little lighter than the majority of e bikes, though when riding, the bike feels light and nimble.

The front end is handled by a forgiving and compliant steel fork, steel has some give in its nature, helping take the sting out of bumps and imperfections in the road. The bike is quick and easy to fold, with no tools needed it’s a simple process, as shown in our video.

"Its collapsable frame, handlebars and pedals mean it folds down to just 880mm x 440mm"

Raleigh Stow-E Way TranzX

Drive Tech

Powerfull TranzX system

The TranzX system is very easy simple and intuitive to use and ride. This bike has a hub drive motor giving 45 newton meters of torque. Hub motors are Known for being less aggressive in their power delivery than a crank drive motor, hub motors feel like being gently pushed along by a strong tailwind, making pedalling up to speed surprisingly easy. A point to note is that when the electric assistance limit of 15 mph is reached, a hub drive becomes quite transparent and gives little to no drag above 15mph or when switched off. This keeps the feel of a normal, non-assisted bike.

The battery tucks away behind the seat tube and has a capacity of 250 Watt-hour, we would estimate that under average conditions and using the lowest mode of assistance, this should be good for about 30 miles of assistance. On the bars is the compact interface. There are 4 modes of assistance available, with 1 being the least, and 4 being the most powerful option, also shown on the display is the battery level. Once the system is on, the integrated lights also illuminate, adding safety and visibility to the ride.

For those that want the experience of cycling but with a little less of the strain, an electric bike is the perfect solution
