Capable Control
The stiff chassis and progressive geometry keep you centred on the bike optimizing traction and cornering control. The Stumpjumper EVO delivers unprecedented levels of DH control for a 150mm trail bike with a 160mm fork.
Fewer Hang-Ups
Derived form the Enduro the EVOs rear suspension kinematics allow the rear wheel to ‘swing’ back with the bump force during the first part of the travel. This means that the bike will hang-up less on those big hits, so you can carry more speed.
Six Geo Setting to Match Style and Terrain
Both the headtube angle and the bottom bracket height are independently adjustable, so you have 6 geometry setting to choose from. The EVO comes set up with a 64.5° h/a but you can either slacken or steepen it a degree from there. You also have about 10mm of adjustment in the BB height.
Sized for Your Riding Style
S-Sizing is style-specific sizing, meaning that now you can choose your frame size based on something that matters (complementing your riding style) instead of something that doesn’t (your inseam).
Mixed Wheel Adaptable
Most Stumpjumper EVO models come with 29” wheels front and rear but the EVO Ltd is a ‘mullet’ with a 27.5” rear wheel to liven up the responsiveness while retaining the traction and stability of a bigger wheel on the front. The other EVOs can be mulleted with an aftermarket shock link.
Ready for Anything
To achieve the desired levels of stiffness the downtube on the EVO is wider. This means that there is more room in the SWAT storage compartment, enough for a 22oz flexible water bladder (included).
